• Social Worker Manager - City of Glens Falls

    CITY OF GLENS FALLS—VACANCY
     
    SOCIAL WORKER MANAGER (PROVISIONAL)
     
    City of Glens Falls is seeking a full-time, provisional, Social Worker Manager. An incumbent in this position is a non-sworn, administrative member of the Glens Falls Police Department. The Social Worker Manager will provide social work crisis intervention services as well as advocacy, community outreach, education and other social work services to the GFPD and City of Glens Falls.
     
    Residency: Candidates must have been legal resident of Warren or a contiguous County for at least four months immediately preceding the date of the exam.
     
    Salary:    $60,000-$70,000   40-hour work week
     
    Minimum Qualifications:
    At time of appointment and throughout the term of employment, possession of a valid license and current registration issued by the New York State Education Department, as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
     
     
    This will be a provisional appointment subject to Civil Service Law and Rules.
