    Open Position:                                    Flex Benefits Administrator
    Reports to:                                          Assistant Vice President, JFA Flex
    Job Location:                                      Glens Falls
    Hours/Week:                                        Full-time; Non-Exempt; Core Hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00
     
    Position Summary:
     This position is responsible for the financial transactional duties of processing reimbursements for medical flexible spending accounts (MFSA), Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA), Dependent Care Assistance (DCAP) plans and Health Savings Account (HSA) plans using the WEX Health web-based data management system for our clients and their participants in employer sponsored group benefits.  This position involves reviewing and processing payments of our clients’ employees’ supplemental health plans reimbursement requests, handling customer service inquiries related to their healthcare or dependent care related expense reimbursement accounts and ensuring accuracy of transactional activities.
     
    Responsibilities:
    • Ensures appropriate changes were made to resolve participants' service requests
    • Contacts Participants and Clients responding to inquiries, notifying them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments
    • Keep records of interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
    • Refer unresolved participant interactions and transactions recording details of inquiries, complaints and comments as well as action taken
    • Refer unresolved participant grievances to designated departments for further investigation
    • Performs other office duties as may be requested.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 2 - 3 years’ experience in related benefit administration and/or insurance claims
    • A 2 two-year college degree in business or related field
    • Experience with basic office automation software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Must have own transportation or access to reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment.
