New overtime rules take effect December 1, 2016. Is your company or organization prepared for the Fair Labor Standards Act Regulation? These major changes are expected to make nearly five million "white collar" employees eligible for hourly and overtime pay. This presentation will cover:
* details of the final regulation
* practical options for reclassifying employees to ensure compliance
* proactive risk management transition strategies
Presenter: Michael D. Billok, a member of Bond, Schoeneck & King’s Albany office. Mike is the co-chair of the firm’s cybersecurity and data privacy practice, and a member of the firm’s labor and employment practice. He regularly represents employers in state and federal court, and is an expert regarding the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
