     after quitting her career in education where she climbed the ranks from a Life Skills Counselor to a Dean of Students and Director of Student Life in the nation’s first public college-preparatory urban boarding school in Washington, DC.  Liza still has a passion for human service as she manages Warren County’s Career Center to support the local workforce in obtaining the training and preparation to secure and retain valuable jobs. She works closely with the Department of Labor, the local Chambers of Commerce and Warren County’s Economic Recovery Task Force to help sustain businesses and develop a trained workforce to meet the needs of the prominent local industries. Liza is a proud graduate of Syracuse University and even more proud to be back in a community where her ancestors, the Howland family, have resided since the 1800’s.
