Adirondack Scenic Railways
Two scenic trains are in operation. The Adirondack Railway Preservation Society, headquartered in Thendara, is the largest scenic railroad line in the Park, with stops between Utica and Lake Placid.
The Upper Hudson River Railroad in North Creek utilizes former Delaware & Hudson routes for pleasure excursions and special events from spring to fall.
