Less than 24-hours and anxious nominees are busy practicing acceptance speeches and picking out “just the right” outfit to wear to tomorrow’s “Business of the Year” Awards Breakfast. The Oscar-like night-before anticipation was precisely what the Adirondack Business Council of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce envisioned when they opted to withhold the names of award winner until the annual breakfast.
The Council annually recognizes deserving Chamber members for their achievements in business, economic, and quality of life contributions to our area. In past years, the Council released the names of award winners in advance of the annual breakfast. This year, excitement has been intentionally built into the ramp-up to the event by waiting to announce the names of this year’s award winners, with the goal of giving more deserved recognition to all nominees as well as driving a heightened level of excitement and attendance.
The Council is accepting reservations to the awards breakfast until 4:00pm today. Cost to attend the awards breakfast is $20/person for Adirondack Regional Chamber members and $30/person for non-Chamber members. To reserve a seat, COMPLETE A REGISTRATION FORM.
