ARCC Promotes Washington County Tourism...
Thanks to a
partnership with Mannix Marketing and
www.saratoga.com, the ARCC
is now
promoting tourism destinations in Washington County to
the thousands of people that are considering visiting or
vacationing in Saratoga County. The ARCC’s Washington
County Guide provides visitors with a brief introduction
describing the many varied tourism related destinations
and special events in Washington County
as well as
links to sites where they can learn even more. Please
visit
http://www.saratoga.com/washingtoncounty to learn
more.
Getting the Job (done)...
The
ARCC is proud of the Washington-Warren
County Job Zone, a site dedicated
to supporting the efforts of
member companies to recruit new employees as the needs of their
organizations evolve. The site features a search function for
job seekers and posting opportunities for member employers. The
site links to the
ARCC website, which will in turn link job
seekers to our members’ websites. Click
on
http://arcc.myjobzone.net/ to access this ARCC members-only
benefit.
Work United - The ARCC has partnered
with a range of local organizations to mobilize our
community to help those who now find themselves unemployed.
The ultimate goal is to match job seekers with employers in
need of new employees as well as to help job seekers during
their search by informing them of available local resources.
The Chamber realizes that many people who are now unemployed
have never before been in this position and may not know
where to start. The Work United initiative is designed to
help these people with the hope that we can help them gain
employment so that they can jump start our local economy by
buying the products and services offered by our members.
Please click here to obtain a
list of local resources and for more information about the
Work United initiative.
