ARCC's 2008 Quality of Life Guide is here!

The twelfth edition of ARCC’s highly acclaimed Quality of Life Guide is the region’s premiere printed economic development tool. A copy has been sent to every chamber member, and will be placed in each relocation package and Welcome Home Folder, and distributed by economic development agencies, affiliate chambers, advertisers and elected officials. The 2008 book features an easy-to-read format and great photos from some of the area’s best photo-graphers.

The Chamber’s new DVD…                               An Open Invitation

The State has the "I Love NY" campaign and now we have the Live Like You’re on Vacation series. We are proud to announce the arrival of an exceptional DVD series promoting our region and significantly underwritten through the generosity of National Grid.

Shining the spotlight on Education, Real Estate, Health Care, the Economy, Art & History and the inherent beauty of life in the Adirondacks this DVD showcases our region like never before. Aerial views taken from a helicoptor, photo narratives illustrating the lavish colors of the seasons and lush beauty of our region, and unprecedented interviews and information regarding everything from industry and health care to the arts, education and history in our region make this the consummate relocation tool.

A particularly valuable component of the series is a CD-Rom that allows users to visit links that we have built in that serve as incredible information sources for relocation. Job seekers and families considering relocation can use it to research schools, recreation, real estate and much more.

The planning and creation of this piece, commissioned by the ARCC and produced by Pepe Productions, has been several years in the making. The project would not be what it is today without the early support of the Washington County Local Development Corporation, Warren-Washington Counties Industrial Development Agency, EDC of Warren County, Glens Falls Local Development Corporation,  and Queensbury Economic Development Organization.

The production of this DVD was supported by contributions by CMJ LLP, Glens Falls Hospital and Glens Falls National Bank. Additional underwriting was achieved through advertising purchased by Associates of Glens Falls, The Glen at Hiland Meadows, Stewart’s Shops, Adirondack Plastics and Recycling, The Hyde Collection, Boston Scientific and Lehigh Northeast Cement.
