2008 Washington County Business Show

Exhibit Space was Sold Out! The ARCC’s Washington County Business Show is an annual event that includes table-top exhibitor space for up to 50 local companies. The 2008 show was held on February 28 at A B&B on the Green, in Kingsbury, and was sponsored by Glens Falls Hospital, KeyBank, Cool Insuring Agency, Inc., Time Warner Cable Business Class, Adirondack Radiology Associates, Adirondack Plastics & Recycling, Glens Falls National Bank & Trust Co., and Rainer’s Gourmet Inspirations. This show has sold out every year and was first held in 2004 at the suggestion of the members of the Washington County Board of Supervisors. It has become one of the county’s premiere business networking opportunities.

Each exhibitor is provided with table-top exhibit space in this newly remodeled banquet facility. Electrical service is available. Exhibit space costs just $135 for ARCC members and $160 for non-members. While several local restaurants and caterers provide special food samples, Rainer’s Gourmet Inspirations provides an extraordinary selection of butlered hors d’oeuvres which allow exhibitors the opportunity to staff their booths and to take nourishment without ever moving.

Exhibitors may begin setup as early as 12:00 noon on the day of the event. An exhibitor-only networking hour is provided between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. The show doors open to members of the business community from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Exhibitors are encouraged to provide door prizes for awarding to those who attend the show.

2008 Adirondack Business Show

The 2008 Adirondack Business Show is an annual event that includes table-top exhibitor space for over 100 local companies and sold out again in 2007. The show will be held on Thursday, October 16 at the Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls. This event was first held in 2003 at the strong urging of many local companies and has become the region’s premiere Business-2-Business show.

Each exhibitor is provided with exhibit space in one of five rooms and electrical service is available. A wide range of local restaurants and caterers set up tables with some extraordinary food and hors d’oeuvres complimented by a cash bar with drink specials.
