Safety Associate/Driver – Part-time, Flexible Schedule

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job description:

A rapidly growing safety training and consulting company based in Warrensburg, NY is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated, and safety-focused individual with strong interpersonal skills and a clean driving record to join our team.

This position involves operating our mobile hearing testing unit and traveling to client worksites throughout New York State and occasionally out of state. The role is part-time with a flexible schedule and may include occasional overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company pickup truck with a 16-foot hearing testing trailer
• Travel to client locations and set up mobile testing equipment
• Conduct hearing screenings using Tremetrics equipment and Workplace Integra software
• Perform additional services such as respirator fit testing and drug and alcohol testing (as needed)
• Assist with occasional administrative or office-related tasks

Schedule & Work Environment:
Our services are provided five days per week across multiple shifts. Candidates must be flexible and willing to accommodate non-traditional hours based on client needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating truck-and-trailer combinations
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical or equipment issues
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• CAOHC certification
• Experience in safety training or occupational health services

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
